"During my IB journey, mentorship was transformative, seamlessly blending real-life applications and contemporary research to make learning both engaging and impactful. The guidance I received ignited my passion for biomedical engineering and bioinformatics, particularly during the pandemic. I was mentored through research on mutations in the RdRp protein of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and their effects on its binding to the drug remdesivir, significantly enhancing the quality of my work and deepening my interest in research.
